BANKING IN THE 21st CENTURY:
GRESHAM REGIONAL CONFERENCE RATED HIGHLY BY CUSTOMERS

London and Barbados - 24 October 2008 – Gresham Computing plc (“Gresham”) is pleased to share details of its recent 2008 Caribbean and South American Regional Customer Conference attended by 19 financial institutions and 36 delegates from across the Region.

The event opened with keynote speaker Eric Sepkes, Chairman of Gresham, giving his views on ‘Banking in the 21 st Century’, challenging delegates to think in new ways about the future of financial services in the Region.

The conference was designed to provide Retail Bank, Commercial Bank, Development Bank, Credit Union and Finance Company attendees with innovative 21 st Century approaches to achieving operational excellence as well as practical insights and education into maximizing their technology investment.

During the conference, delegates discussed best practice in the financial services industry, learned from guest speakers and shared their knowledge with each other. Interactive sessions focused on responding to customer needs in the current financial environment and ways an effective organisation can cope with today’s challenges.

Henry E. Elcock, Financial Consultant, commented “As a user of only 3 months, Finabank N.V., Paramaribo, Suriname still thought it necessary to attend the conference mainly to measure the users’ approach to Clareti Banking. This experience was positive so that we hope to attend more users’ conferences to exchange work experiences with peers and collectively bring to the table proposals for improvement.”
